A support system for quartz tubes for laboratory furnaces was developed for the Department of Chemistry. The support is mounted on a slide that slides along the furnace shaft and is equipped with a sealing ring, a hose connector for lateral nitrogen flushing, and an adjustable system for securing alumina tubes.
