Spinning disk confocal microscope that enables high-resolution 3D confocal imaging. The spinning disk architecture significantly increases acquisition speed and allows a ‘gentle’ imaging of the sample, reducing the level of photobleaching and phototoxicity and making this system suitable for the analysis of large and sensitive samples and for live cell imaging experiments.
The microscope also offers both confocal and widefield approaches and is equipped with a Yokogawa CSU-W1 scanning head (50 um disk with microlenses), four laser lines (405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 640 nm), a Hamamatsu ORCA Fusion monochrome CMOS camera, a cage incubator for live cell imaging, and a TruFocus™ Z-drift compensation module. The microscope is controlled by Evident CellSense software, which includes tools for acquiring specific regions of the sample (mosaic, multi-point, and multi-well acquisition) and 3D rendering.
