NMR

Nuclear Magnetic Resonance

“… magnetic resonance (…) offers so much freedom and opportunities (…) to explore new experimental schemes that can be fruitfully applied in a variety of disciplines“. Richard R. Ernst, Nobel Lecture, December 9, 1992

Description

Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) is a quantitative, non destructive technique, which allows to obtain important informations about structural and dynamic properties of the sample.

NMR finds application in several fields:

  • food: adulterations and supply chain controls;
  • biomedical: metabolic processes analysis, dynamic and tissues morphology;
  • chemical-pharmaceutical: studies of reactions, structural characterization of molecules, identification of impurities;
  • materials: structure and composition of polymers.

NameDescription
Dynamics CenterDynamics Center is the Bruker software solution for relaxation, diffusion, and kinetics analyses. The implemented methods perform data processing and optimization both of small molecules and mixtures, and of proteins, and allow the flexibility of the imported and exported data.link
