For the ATLAS experiment at CERN in Geneva, an advanced Beam Interlock system was developed to interface the Muon Spectrometer power system with the central beam interlock of the LHC accelerator. The system includes a microcontroller for monitoring and control, and a single-board computer running an OPC-UA server for remote supervision.
