For the New Small Wheel project in the ATLAS experiment at CERN, the Scientific Prototyping Lab developed the Detector Safety System (DSS). The system comprises 12 DSS units with opto-isolated inputs and outputs designed to manage hardware interlocks of high and low voltage power supplies, ensuring operational safety.
