A system for the distillation of special solvents was developed for the Department of Chemistry. The system consists of a vacuum evaporator and three glass columns immersed in dry ice. It is equipped with a heating system and continuous air temperature monitoring, connected to a vacuum pump and flow control valves. The entire system is mounted on a polycarbonate structure and includes thermostats for the automatic control and regulation of process parameters.
