In 2019, in collaboration with the Power Electronics Laboratory of the Department of Industrial and Information Engineering, a prototype of an electrostatic electret-based harvester was developed for energy recovery from airflow. The device, designed for small-scale wind applications, was presented at the EPE’19 ECCE Europe conference held in Genova.
