For the research activities at the PVSquared² laboratory of the Department of Chemistry, an 8-channel characterization system was developed for photovoltaic cells. It enables V-I curve acquisition and Maximum Power Point (MPP) determination and can work as an electronic load for aging studies. It is fully modular and upgrade-ready, with control software for Windows systems using a custom USB protocol.
